UgaTalk uses Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) to route your calls over the internet to Uganda's phone network. You get the same quality as a regular phone call, but at a fraction of the cost. All you need is a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
You can call any Uganda mobile number (MTN, Airtel, Uganda Telecom) and any Uganda landline number. Just dial the number as you normally would, including the area code.
Tap the "Top Up" button in the app to add credit via mobile money, Visa, Mastercard, or bank transfer. Minimum top-up is $1. Your credit never expires and is activated instantly.
Your credit never expires, so you can use it any time. If you have issues with a specific call, our support team will review and credit your account if applicable.
Yes! When someone calls your UgaTalk number, it will ring on your phone just like a regular call, even when the app is in the background. Make sure notifications are enabled for the best experience.

UgaTalk is not on Google Play yet, so you'll need to allow installation from unknown sources. It only takes a moment:
